Let me lay out the cold, harsh truth:  You may be at risk of sabotaging your own success.

This might surprise you.  It might leave you incredulous. It might even have you confidently saying “Not me, not now, not ever!”

And I hope you’re right.  But the fact is, lots of entrepreneurs experience fear at one time or another.

And that fear manifests in a variety of ways.

Most commonly, you’ll see it in the forms of procrastination, perfectionism or ‘analysis paralysis’. Sometimes you’ll second-guess yourself a lot. Sometimes you’ll just realize that failure – or maybe even success – sparks a little fear in you.

However, sometimes you have this fear buried so deep that you can’t even begin to recognize it. It doesn’t manifest in an obvious way, such as procrastination. Because if you would procrastinate, then you would only have yourself to blame if you didn’t do the work and follow your dreams.  That’s why people self sabotage.

It gives you a way to derail your dreams without the guilt of knowing that you’re the one who hindered your own success. That’s because clever self-saboteurs sabotage themselves in a way that makes it look like someone else is to blame.
